About

We began our service vehemently among Dalit and vulnerable women in starting Self Help Groups (SHG's) in and around Coimbatore district providing them capacity building and income generation activities.

ASWAT focuses on health and hygiene thus laying our emphasis on HIV/AIDS, Reproductive and Child Health, and also education among Dalits, People living with HIV/AIDS (PLHAs), and HIV/AIDS affected – infected children in extending care and support by helping them to enhance their livelihood by providing a sustainable livelihood. We also work towards reducing social discrimination and stigma, particularly among the most vulnerable and marginalized communities.
