Launched in 2004, the trust was the outcome of the long term dream of extending a helping hand to the poor, downtrodden and uncared children and adults in our society. The Trust has been helping and providing assistance to uncared people physically challenged, Old age people, various joint programs with the government for protecting the environment, assisting for compulsory marriage registration, providing financial assistance for school fees to boys and girls, schools studying in government high secondary schools and providing Medical assistance.

Rural and semi-urban India has either illiterates or low literates. Saraguru believes in empowering this mass by creating awareness on the importance of education, health, road safety, need to wear helmets, safety belt and on civic sense like respecting signals, walking on platforms, proper parking, keeping surrounding clean etc.
