T. Bright started Bethany Social Service Society in 2004, along with social workers and his friends who sweared to contribute their might towards social oblications. It was registered under Tamil nadu Society Registration Act. Bethany has been working for the development of Rural poor, our target group are marginalizedgroups like Tribal and Dalit (who are victims of cumulative inequalities) landless agricultural labourers, women and children. Bethany is initiating various action programmes to build awareness, self-reliance and self-sufficiency of these categories of suffering groups. Undertaking programmes with the co-operation of self-interested volunteers, Donors, government and generous public. At present, while concentrating in the children and women development projects, it is interested in championing the child education issue of Krishnagiri District.
